My Name Is Anthea Van Wyk and I am the Gal behind Calendar Events Photography. I am a light loving, adventure seeking, full of energy Greek South African mommy of two and married to a loving, supportive husband who has been a wonderful subject and has given up so much so I can continue my passion. 

Life goes by so fast and I don’t want to miss any of it! With children of my own, I know how quickly those ‘First’s’ come and go, and how I want to be able to just freeze every moment. In the years I’ve been involved with photography, I’ve learned to appreciate all the small things that make up the beautiful world we live in. Through my lens I capture special moments with true emotions and translate them into art. I love capturing real life in its entire beauty.

My Style…

I Specialize In Styled Children Photography, Cake Smashes, Sitter Sessions, Family Sessions, Couples And Wedding Photography. My Style Is A Tad Bit Moody, Emotional And Creative. I Love Working With My Client’s Creative Visions And Running With It, Because I Know That The Images I Take For You Will Become More Priceless With Each Passing Year, So I Put My Whole Heart Into This Craft To Show The Connection, Emotion And Joy In Each Photo.

During My Sessions, I Create The A Number Of Hand Edited Portraits. Some Will Be Candid And Loose, While Others Will Be Tightly Posed With Everyone Looking At The Camera And Smiling. My Approach To Each Sessions Are Relaxed And Fun. I Want To Not Just Give My Client’s Portraits, But Works Of Art. In Our Sessions Together, My Main Focus Is To Capture The Personality And Emotion. I Am Humbled That Growing Families Choose Me To Documents These Fleeting Moments In Their Lives.
